Golf legend Jack Nicklaus will embark on building a world-class golf course that blends effortlessly with the natural landscape at Seaside Mariana Spa & Golf Resort. The dynamic combination of the Jack Nicklaus Design Group philosophy and the stunning ocean side location is sure to make this course one of the most spectacular golf destinations in the world and the only Jack Nicklaus golf course in Nicaragua.
Nicklaus believes "the relationship between a golf course and its environment is one that goes hand-in-hand. The golf course is very much a part of the environment and likewise, the environment is very much a part of the golf course. The two complement each other."
At Nicklaus' request, a number of beachfront and ocean-view lots were removed from the original master plan to allow for more ocean proximity golf holes, thus taking full advantage of the unique contour of the terrain and sustaining his philosophy of enhancing the natural environment and creating courses that are both challenging and enjoyable for players of all levels. Golfers will be afforded an experience unrivaled in Latin America.
Jack, along with his son, son-in-law, and some of the worlds most accomplished golf course design associates, agronomists, industry consultants, and experts in golf course construction and marketing represent Nicklaus Design.
